In the year since the release of Fionn Regan's album The End Of History, critical acclaim and award nominations have been flooding in. A place on the shortlist for Ireland's Choice Music Prize, two Meteor Award nominations and of course a place on The Mercury Prize shortlist have all been more than deserved. He also became the first UK/Irish artist signed onto US label Lost Highway upon their debut release. We've championed him from early on in the campaign and are happy to reiterate that support with the re-release of this track, which we first featured in January. As a complete album it's definitely one of our favourites of the last year - poetic, engaging and original. We're sure, whatever the outcome of the Mercury Prize, that Regan is in prime position to place himself as an important singer/songwriter for many years to come. Watch the lovely video here.
