We get a lot of submissions from singer songwriters every week. Sometimes it becomes a dispiriting task to listen to them all. However oversubscribed the category is, this from 24 year-old Dublin-based Michael Roche stood out from the pile. It has those precious ingredients: a beautifully delivered voice and a great song complete with some fine arrangements.
