We say
The King Blues are a collective that have come out of Hackney's squat scene. They have two acoustic guitars, an acoustic bass and a ukulele and play ska blended with folk, with a rough punk edge. This track, from their debut album Under The Fog, received multiple plays from Mike Davies' Lock Up Show on Radio 1, for whom they've also recorded a live session. Zane Lowe and several US indie stations have also picked up on their refreshing sound. When this song was played at our round table at ITC, a huge buzz was reignited.
