Shanadoo are four Japanese girls Chika, Junka, Marina and Manami. The time is right for a J-pop/dance hit over here and this is a smash. It went to no14 in Germany, where it was given great TV support from Viva. The song is a cover of German/Swiss eurodance group E-Rotic's song, which was released in 2001. Popbitch tipped Shanadoo recently, saying that they "manage to convey both wholesome and mucky like no-one since the Spice Girls". It's available for release for most of Europe, ex GAS, Baltic States and SE Asia/Japan. In the vein of the best imported pop smashes (we're thinking Whigfield and Los Del Rio), there's a dance to accompany the song, the Para Para. The video is here. JF Tipped by: PopbitchContact
