Staff picks: James Barton writes: Among many tracks that have been tickling the ears of the RotD team this year, one of my personal faves is the jaw-dropping Station Approach from Elbow's cracking album Leaders Of The Free World. But it hasn't been released as a single yet so that's going to have to wait until the new year. Meanwhile, this cut from Girls Aloud made me sit up and take notice the first time I heard it. Due credit to Stuart Clarke from Music Week for bringing it to our attention. Pure pop genius.
