Thanks to Michel Petré for tipping us off about this. What a vocal. What perfect production - simple, sparse and classic. What a lyric, and what a song - just jaw- dropping from the opening line onwards. Anna is a 26 year-old singer/songwriter from Stockholm. This is currently climbing the Swedish chart. It's a cover of a song by Swedish rock band Broder Daniel ("a classic indie-band who set the rules for a decade worth of Swedish guitar bands", apparently), but Anna has completely transformed it. Someone should play this on Radio 2 and watch the phones light up, Eva Cassidy- style.
