Love & Neon Lights

We say

We rarely find time to listen to whole albums by artists we've never heard of, and on this occasion we were just skimming through a track or two from each before clearing them off the shelf. Luckily, Love & Neon Lights is track 2 on Niccokick's debut album Awake From The Dead, My Dear Best Friend which came out at the end of last year in Sweden and has received strong support from Sweden's national radio station P3 and MTV Nordic. It's a credible but melodic rock anthem, and it's by no means the only good track on the album. Niccokick are co-produced and managed by top Swedish producer Ronald Bood. Their label say "The young members of Niccokick are from the Swedish tennis capital Båstad and though frontman Andreas Söderlund has the haircut of a young Björn Borg, on stage he reminds you more of a John McEnroe gone totally nuts."
