On A Good Thing

We say

Cabin Crew and/or Sunset Strippers are heading for the top of the charts - will this be the last of the 80s- sampling, funky, filtered smashes, or merely the precursor to a summer-long trend? We hope the former as it's starting to get boring, but we're starting to suspect the latter. C-Sixty Four's Commodores interpretation deviates from the formula somewhat (there's a fair bit of song in there and not too much filtering). It has long- standing specialist support across the board from Tong to the mainstream clubs. It's picking up 300+ plays a week at ILR and could be on the verge of crossing over.
