It was Howard Berman, then MD of Mercury, who first turned us on to the wonderful Shelby Lynne. So it's fitting that the first release on his own label is Lari White, a Florida artist who sounds like Shelby's musical soulmate. Lari has followed a similar career path to Shelby too (reasonably successful albums for majors but within a Nashville straightjacket from which she has now broken free), and album opener Nothing But Love is just jaw-dropping like nothing since, er, Shelby Lynne!Contact
