The Stands are a Scouse four piece who don't try and disguise their influences ('60s Dylan and The Byrds being the two that leap out from their music). But who cares about the influences when the songwriting is this good, and this genuine. Not UK singles buyers anyway, who put their last single inside the top 40 and who will put this one higher.
