Record of the Day Events & Awards
We didn't host the RotD Awards for Music Journalism and PR after 2012, but still wanted to get some good people together, so put on drinks for key tastemakers, all of whom receive our daily email with our editorially-chosen track.
We'd like to give thanks to our favourite bar, the Player in Soho, for hosting the night, Pure for donating a Marshall amp-styled digital radio and a wireless speaker named Jongo for a fun raffle. Sony
Music also donated a wireless speaker, so all the winners were very happy. Thanks to our events photographer Elliott Franks too. And, of course, to everyone who attended. Feedback suggests it was a worthwhile evening and we may host another at some point.
