Stay The Night

WE SAY
Radio: make room on your A lists now for the first crossover dance anthem of 2014. Stay The Night, from German producer ZEDD featuring Paramore's Hayley Williams, is already a bona fide hit in the US, where it has sold 250k downloads, with a video already approaching 20m views in a little over two months. Stay The Night is the follow-up to the ubiquitous Clarity (featuring RotD favourite Foxes), which has sold 2.5m units globally and whose video is now nudging an eye-watering 50m views. Emerging off the back of productions and remixes for Skrillex, Black Eyed Peas and Fatboy Slim, ZEDD has gone on to produce for the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Deadmau5. Having just completed a run of sold-out UK headline shows he takes his Moments of Clarity world tour across the US until the end of the year. Stay The Night is already picking up specialist plays at Radio 1 as well as Kiss Fresh and Capital Xtra; expect a slew of playlist additions in January.
