WE SAY
Following on from their anthemic single, She Needs The Pain, in August, Leicester-based emerging four-piece Young Decades are back with this confident and rousing indie belter. Since our feature in the summer, the band have continued to build on their reputation in the Midlands scene with further gigs, including a show for DHP Family supporting 90s cult icons Goodbye Mr Mackenzie in Nottingham. They have also gained two mentors, Sean Devine (ex-VP, ASCAP) and Ian Burden (Human League), to help them navigate the industry but are still looking for management and a live agent. Having already received support from BT Sport, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing (Rob Adcock, Stoke & Dean Jackson, East Midlands) for their previous singles, we expect Pendulum, a song about time, to follow suit. With over 500k combined streams, the track would be perfect for alternative and indie playlists at DSPs. Fully self-produced, self-funded and managed, Young Decades have a wealth of songs ready to be released throughout 2023 as they set to break out across the whole of the UK and beyond.
