Guillotine

YADi

Warner Bros.

WE SAY

YADi's towering vocal soars over tribal drums and marching beats on this fantastic track from edgy pop's future darling. With those characteristics in mind she's bound to be compared to Florence & The Machine, but her use of a more R&B tinged production, synths and distinctive war-inspired lyrics set her apart. After picking up spot plays from Pete Tong and Fearne Cotton on Radio 1, YADi was invited to play the Fearne Cotton-curated Festifeel which will be a great slot for the 24-year-old siren. Press has rolled in quite naturally with YADi appealing to the likes of Q, Guardian, Sunday Times Culture and Neon Gold, the latter of which described her as “…the next great hope for empowered female pop in the UK”.  Video.

London Gig: June 4, Festifeel @ The Queen Of Hoxton N1
