X-Press 2
WE SAY
Tim De Laughter from The Polyphonic Spree features as vocalist on X-Press 2's very catchy new single, which is based on a version of a song originally covered by 60's US band Harpers Bizarre. Taken from their latest album Makeshift Feelgood, it's a record that deserves to return them to the chart heights of 2002's Lazy. Their track Give It, which we loved so much we featured twice as RotD in 2005, will hopefully also realise its true hit potential when re-released later this year. They've long had the knack of matching a great guest vocalist with a cracking tune, and they've hit the nail on the head here. This is a gem. JF
