I'll Believe In Anything
Wolf Parade
WE SAY
Wolf Parade, from Montreal, are the latest Canadian export to make big noises over here. Apologies to Queen Mary, their first full length, released in the UK last month, doesn’t let down the label's excellent track record of bringing exciting indie talent to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. The buzz is justified. Wonderfully distinctive, rambling anthems with infectious melodies and grand orchestral string arrangements that their native cousins, Arcade Fire, would be proud of. One to watch. They play London's Barfly on December 1. No clip today, but hear it here. Other tracks are on their MySpace page. Tipped by: Jim Carroll, Irish Times
