We featured the first of two demos from Brighton artist Will Rendle back in March 2007 when he was unsigned. RCA signed him soon after and this is his first release with his band The People. Now relocated to London, Will And The People are currently finishing their debut album with producer Johnny Douglas (Estelle, Kylie, Andre 3000), which will be released in the summer. Like those early demos, their blend of ska, reggae, pop and rock is infectious. They've just finished a UK tour with The Script and are just about to start a tour of their own, including a residency at Water Rats. JF London gig: February 17, Water Rats WC1
