Ill Fit
Wave Machines
WE SAY
From the groove-induced bassline to the brooding Prince inspired vocal delivery, Ill Fit is the sign of a band on the path to an incredibly exciting second album. The Lexx (Bjork) produced single has had a great reaction at radio, picking up Radio 1 plays from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart, and Radio 2 support from Dermot O'Leary. It's playlisted at Xfm and 6Music, where the band perform a live session this week with Lauren Laverne. Online it quickly hit the HypeM top 10 before picking up features with The 405, The Guardian, Fake DiY, RCRD LBL, Artrocker and Clash. This is a phenomenal start to an album campaign for Wave Machines with forthcoming album - Pollen - released January 21 and a Scala show confirmed for February 6 together with a nationwide tour. In the last couple of weeks the Liverpudlian band have sold out shows in London, Paris and Nantes. Video.
