I Like Life
Waiting For Smith
WE SAY
‘I Like Life’ is the positive new single from Waiting for Smith, the musical project of singer-songwriter Harry Lloyd. When we last featured Lloyd’s work in the summer of 2023, he was making waves with his heartfelt sound. Since then, the Amsterdam-based artist has released his debut album, ‘Raised Up’, followed by the EP ‘Small Things’, earning millions of streams along the way. His music has also garnered support from BBC Radio 1, 2, and 6 Music, alongside praise from GQ, Clash, Rolling Stone India, MTV and Earmilk, to name just a few. Written during a writing session in Amsterdam with fellow musicians Jara de Werd and Ramon de Wilde, ‘I Like Life’ is the title track to his upcoming new EP. Radiating a feel-good vibe with its melodic bassline and toe-tapping rhythm, alongside infectious harmonies, the single is an anthem to lift your spirits and a perfect way to start the week off.
