Strong on melody and with a driving rock edge, Vukovi hail from Ayrshire in Scotland and comprise of Janine Shlistone on vocals, Hamish Reilly on guitar, Jason Trotter on bass and Colin Irving on drums. Having supported acts in the past including Twin Atlantic, Funeral For A Friend and Lower Than Atlantis, the band has had a rather busy 2014 on the festival circuit, building up a core fanbase and seeing strong specialist radio support from tastemakers like Huw Stephens and Jen & Ally at Radio 1 plus the team at Planet Rock. Now they're currently working on an album for later next year. This week they play live at Glasgow's Apple Store on Monday (September 29) and are in London for an Xfm session on Wednesday (October 1). We reckon there's plenty going on here on this great track to see them deservedly pick up mainstream daytime radio support. Spiky, snappy and with a great chorus, this is a band with genuine big ambitions but the sound is firmly in place to see those truly fulfilled.
