Some Kind Of Dream

WE SAY
Villa Nah's album Origin had a low-key release in the UK last year on Finnish label Keys of Life, along with a single release (Running On/ Ways To Be) on Moshi Moshi. Critical reception here was positive with a Breaking Act feature in The Sunday Times (see here) and good reviews on the BBC Music site and The Line Of Best Fit. NME wrote that the duo “reignites electropop's romantic flame”. Their OMD influence was realised later in the year with Villa Nah remixing OMD's single (listen here) and supporting them on their UK tour. Origin is well worth a listen - musically and lyrically it radiates more heartfelt charm than many of their contemporaries in the genre. 'An album for people who crave pleasure in their music', as The Line Of Best Fit put it. They will be a popular live draw at the upcoming Eurosonic festival.
