Born Slippy (Rick's 2003 Edit)
Underworld
WE SAY
We're very attached to Born Slippy having helped it become a hit, so were wary of this new, Darren Emerson-free mix, made to launch the Underworld 1992-2002 compilation. It's not a minor tweak either - the kick drum is still there but those spine-tingling opening chords (which Underworld think are cheesy) have been replaced by a piano. Grown Up Slippy, if you like. It works beautifully, and there's an inspired video idea to accompany it- Trainspotting edited into four minutes by Danny Boyle. Watch it here (Windows Media): 56 100 300
