London-based Welsh artist, songwriter and producer twst dropped this sucker punch of pulsing, euphoric pop yesterday (22 August). Co-produced by Clarence Clarity (Rina Sawayama, Dorian Electra), ‘Catch Me (Beautiful Fall)’ is a sonic rollercoaster ride of emotion that channels the energy of Lorde’s ‘Green Light’ and Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’. Lyrically, the track delves into the “theme of a tumultuous relationship and explores the imbalanced dynamics of abuse”. Deserving of new releases and new pop programming at DSPs and spins on specialist shows on Radio 1, the track will feature on her forthcoming new EP, ‘TWST0002’. Her previous releases have seen her gain the attention of Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Clara Amfo, Annie Mac), Guardian, Paper, Notion, DIY and more. This weekend, she will perform at Reading and Leeds Festivals, so if you are attending, add twst to your must-see list.
