Autonomy

WE SAY

Trip is a North London-based artist whose self-released debut single is getting support from the likes of XFM R1 and DJ Magazine, who have tipped him for success in 2009. River Phoenix, released via Autonomy Recordings, is the first single from the Lance Thomas (Ladytron) produced debut album ShortCuts, which also features collaborations with Does It Offend You, Yeah's James Rushent. Like this introduction, there's a lot of entertaining wordplay backed by strong melodies. One of the innovative ideas for the launch of this project is DayTrip, a movie made to accompany the proposed album. It was shot by 11 different directors over a 24 hour period with 2 hour timeslots for each track. JF London gig: February 11 The Fly WC1
