Many people regard the mid 1980s to be a golden age of music. It’s an era that’s inspired newcomers Tremorheart, an electronic pop trio who formed last year and seem to have an uncanny ear for creating instant radio-friendly tracks that hark back to those days whilst still sounding fresh and contemporary. This track features on their debut EP, released this week, rather unconventionally on a limited run of 100 cassette tapes with free MP3 download codes. They’ve self-produced, written and recorded an album’s worth of material at their home studio and, after honing their sound over the past twelve months, will finally bring their live show to a London venue sometime this February. During 2014, we saw heard, bought and cherished tons of great memorable songs, stuffed full of crucial killer chorus hooks. In 2015, on the evidence of this, Tremorheart look set to deliver many more by the truck-load.
