Toy
Toodar
WE SAY
This track from London band Toodar has been picking up coverage on 6music from Tom Robinson and Lauren Laverne. As Tom Robinson's enthusiastic blog encourages, we too recommend that you check out the video for the track, which was shot using only a camera phone and a train set assembled in the studio where the band was recording. The track itself is an understated gem - or 'drop-dead gorgeous' as Robinson calls it. Toy is available on a recently-released Rash Records compilation or on the band's own White Elephant EP. Toodar have recently been picked up for management and are , for now, still available for records and publishing.
London gig: December 1, The Elgin W11
