Following the hauntingly beautiful and romantic No Mans Land earlier this year, Guildford-based 18 year old singer-songwriter Tom King is back with this tender sad-pop ballad. Premiered on Wonderland Magazine yesterday (22 July), Be That For Me exquisitely tells an intimate tale of heartbreak, backed by simple acoustic melody and lush choral harmonies. Written with Paul Aiden, the track offers Tom’s serene and emotive vocal to take centre stage, from the softy sung to the quivering falsetto moments – it's just glorious. Watch the accompanying video, filmed in the Surrey countryside, here. Later tonight, Tom will be performing his first three singles on a livestream via his website at 8pm, so tune in to catch this young, talented emerging singer-songwriter. For fans of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.
