With the annual Notting Hill Carnival running across the weekend, we bet this addictive summery track from Toddla T will throb out of sound systems right across west London for the next few days and nights. This track is the second single from his latest album Foreign Light which also features collaborations from Wiley, Stefflon Don, Chilly Gonzales and others. Released on his own label, Magnet is already a fixture inside Shazam’s UK Top 40 and there’s been strong support too across 1Xtra and Radio 1 (Annie Mac had the first play as her Hottest Record In The World last month) as well as at Kiss Fresh. P Diddy on Beats 1 even featured it on his show and on Instagram. Key press and online features have included The Times, Notion, Mixmag, Fader, Complex, Clash and many more. With the immaculate vocal of Andrea Martin upfront blending soulfully with that killer reggae-infused electro rhythm and chilled-out piano lines, this is a hot one for sure. Summer ain’t over yet.
