WE SAY
Back in 2012, Tini became a household name in her native Norway when she was featured as a contestant on their version of The Voice. Her mentor was Magne Furuholmen, best known as one third of Take On Me pop legends a-Ha. For the past couple of years, both Mags and producer Martin Terefe have been working with Tini in London on tracks for her debut album Undo My Heart, which has this week gone iTunes Top 5 in Norway, from where this simple, brilliantly executed song comes. We're reminded a lot here of the huge Grammy award winning US star Colbie Caillat listening to this perfectly constructed, sunshine-filled chorus. Following her launch party showcase in London earlier this week, she's now preparing to support the a-Ha lead singer Morten Harket on upcoming dates in Oslo next month. This is one of those songs you can instantly hear naturally being synced on TV and films all over the world. Bright, light and cheerily optimistic, we need more great tunes like this in our daily lives.
