Mashing elements of The Beastie Boys’ ‘Intergalactic’, Crystal Waters’ 'Gypsy Woman' and 90’s dance breaks with some rapping from new MC Bad Lay-Dee, Timmy Vegas have come up with an unusual forumla but one that is both credible and crowd-pleasing. Danny Byrd's great drum ‘n’ bass remix of this is proving popular with Zane Lowe and Annie Mac at R1 as well as Steve Smart (Kiss) and Des Paul (Capital). A house treatment from Tom Novy completes a strong package from the ever-reliable Eye Industries. The giant robot Bad Lay-Dee in the amazing video does it for us too. This has been adeed to the R1 Up-front list and the Kiss network . JF
