Performed during yesterday’s President Joe Biden’s inauguration TV special, Undivided is the new single from two of country music’s biggest stars, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line. Written by Tyler Hubbard back in November last year while waiting out a positive Covid-19 quarantine, the track is a feelgood message of hope, optimism and unity at a time when it is much needed. The up-tempo country offering received its UK radio premiere on Chris Country Radio’s breakfast show last week and has since picked up spins on Radio 2’s Bob Harris show. Stateside, the track has had 152 station adds (the most ever) in the first week on Mediabase Country, along with TV interviews with CBS This Morning, the Bobby Bones Show and later today (21 Jan) on the Today show. Since its release last week, it has featured on editorial playlists at Spotify and Apple Music and amassed over 1m combined streams, which is only going to rocket up further after yesterday’s performance.
