This is another Data release that has taken '80s kitsch and turned it into a potential chart smash. The sample is from the '80s group B Beat Girls, fondly remembered from Size 9's house classic I Am Ready, and the German duo have worked wonders with it. They've made a quirky, accessible house record with crossover appeal. Strong radio support comes upfront from Pete Tong and Jo Whiley on Radio 1, and Kiss 100's Steve Smart. JF
