WE SAY
It was back in April when we first featured TIAAN with her sultry slow-jam Dive Deep. That track sounded to us like a fine blend of old-skool Sade and Aaliyah whilst this latest one has more of a pop sensibility about it, but those R&B influences continue to shine through vocally. Already the song can boast 50,000 daily streams on Spotify (where she's releasing a new track every month), plenty of buzz from key tastemaker blogs including the team at Popjustice, plus Lily Allen recently tweeted that she's a fan too. The minimalist production gives the whole sound plenty of room to breathe and we can imagine it really standing out on the radio in a very positive way, as it's the kind of thing that there seems to be very little of right now. With one of those chorus hooks that just gets firmly under your skin, this'll be lodged in your head after the very first play, and now that Tiaan is spending more time in the capital we hope there are some London dates lined up soon. Smooth and sophisticated, those Swedish studio boffins at Aristotracks have conjured up another corker.
