New York born producer, multi-instrumentalist and hip hop devotee, Thunderbird Gerard has dropped a new video for swagger filled Thunderbird. With disparate fans as wide as Graham Coxon and Judy Nylon, to Rob da Bank who premiered Thunderbird on his Radio 1 show on Saturday and Tom Robinson on 6Music, the smooth operator aligns himself as something a bit out of the ordinary; writing recording and producing everything in his Berlin home studio. An A&R scrum ensued his early demos leading to penning a deal with BMG Chrysalis. Thunderbird recently supported Shabazz Palaces and played Liverpool Sound City, which will be followed up with a full UK tour in the autumn. This release has picked up very early support from Hypetrak, Fact and Clash as the campaign gathers momentum. Video.
