The Night Train
Those Damn Crows
WE SAY
From playing to 20 people at the Camden Barfly over ten years ago to securing a top 3 album on the Official Charts with ‘Inhale/Exhale’ in 2023, Welsh band Those Damn Crows have grown a loyal and passionate fanbase. Last year saw them perform on the main stage at Download festival, following relentless touring and sharing bills with Queens Of The Stone Age, ZZ Top and The Hollywood Vampires. Today (2 April) sees the Bridgend-born band release ‘The Night Train’ - the latest single from their forthcoming fourth album, ‘God Shaped Hole’, via Earache Records. With its restrained, folky edge, beautiful melody and wistful feeling, the single pulls on ’90s rock with cinematic aesthetics to create an epic and anthemic affair. Expect to see this feature on new rock and new release programming at DSPs later this week, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it picks up airplay on Kerrang! and Planet Rock, as well as specialist shows at Radio 1 and 6 Music too. Later this morning (10am), Those Damn Crows will premiere the official video for ‘The Night Train’ on their YouTube channel, along with news of their forthcoming UK tour. In the meantime, just hit play and enjoy this soaring rock gem.
