This beautiful performance from 17-year-old Thelma Plum shows great promise as the Australian artist is nominated as a finalist for the highly prestigious Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year award. Father Said has been a great breakthrough for her down under where not only has it been played on Unearthed, but also featured at the well regarded National Indigenous Music Awards, winning a Deadly Award for outstanding promise (the Deadly's recognise outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders). Currently on a national tour supporting Bob Evans and performing at the Woodford Folk Festival over the summer, Thelma has the media and industry abuzzing for her innate depth of songwriting prowess and enigmatic live presence and performances. A self-funded EP is in the final stages of mastering and she is currently considering offers for distribution.
