The Wholls
WE SAY
In something of an unprecedented move, we’re once again featuring this incredible debut single by The Wholls a mere five weeks after we last did. Why? Well, the feedback after our first run has been astonishing. We heard Huw Stephens giving the song some big love at Radio 1 when he played the track a few days afterwards and it sounded superb. Now, US TV sync supervisors are jumping aboard, majors look set to pounce, and the band are booked to perform to an estimated TV audience of two billion worldwide, when they open up proceedings at this year’s Miss World contest in China on December 19. Press and online continue to build, Channel 4 have spent an entire day filming with the band for a big TV project early next year, there’s constant and growing support from BBC Introducing and more gigs are on the way, including Proud Galleries in Camden on December 2. When the debut album drops, these fellas will be one of the biggest buzz-acts at every festival they play next summer. No messing about, here's the hottest new British band to focus on as new year approaches.
