The Wandering Hearts
WE SAY
At the start of the year, Decca hosted a London showcase for several of their impressive new signings. One act immediately stood out for us. The Wandering Hearts comprise of AJ, Chess, Tim and Tara and were discovered within half-an-hour of uploading their first demo online, then signed up shortly afterwards by the label. It’s easy to understand why on this glorious debut single, released today (May 5). Their music is a British twist on everything you love about the classic Fleetwood Mac sound, with folk and country influences from the likes of First Aid Kit, The Lumineers and Chris Stapleton in their too, plus some of the finest harmonies of any emerging act that you’ll have heard in years. Their first London show at St. Pancras Old Church last week was sold out, and this song already has been championed by Michael Ball and his team at Radio 2. We urge you to catch them perform at The Great Escape on May 18, and you too will be excited for their debut album which will arrive in September. This is quality British songwriting at its finest. And there's plenty more to follow, we can assure you.
