Morrissey’s Tongue
The Visions
WE SAY
The Visions, fronted by talented singer songwriter Greg MacDonald, grew out of the now defunct The Dawn Parade who we have previously championed. From the inspired opening quotations from Henry V to the rousing chorus, Morrissey's Tongue is a perfect indie pop song. Into The Nightlife, their debut album, was produced by Chris Brown (Muse, Radiohead, Spice Girls) and it brims with a charming romanticism and an epic sound which deserves a broader airing. The album is a remarkable achievement and this would make a beautiful first single. We’re happy to report that early support came from Rolling Stone ("..goddamned if Greg's gang don't take our breath away" they said), Mark Radcliffe on Radio 2 and Tom Robinson on 6Music. Forthcoming gig: April 8, Man On The Moon, Cambridge
