The Unthanks

Last is the follow-up to the Mercury nominated 2007 album The Bairns by The Unthanks (formally known as Rachel Unthank and the Winterset). Queen of Hearts is a engrossing, evocative snapshot of what to expect from it. The Bairns made The Guardian and Uncut’s best albums of the decade lists, and we expect the reception to be just as warm for their return. Currently in Australia on a sold out tour, and nominated for Best Live Act at the Radio 2 Folk Awards, they return with a UK tour to follow the album's release. A thoroughly rewarding listen.
