How could we run anything today but a tribute to John Peel? We’ll remember him as a music enthusiast without equal who was as great an influence on most of us as any artist. A friend to listeners, musicians and labels alike, it was John who first introduced so many of us to the music which really excited us. It was John who first inspired many of us to get into this business, and who gave many of us our first play on Radio 1. His influence is immeasurable; his passion lives on in us all.
