Silent Violent

The Tourettes

unsigned

WE SAY

Stockholm's The Tourettes are so called because the singer has a mild form of Tourettes. They're managed by Teenage Fanclub member/Shoeshine Records founder Francis Macdonald and songwriter John McLaughlin. They look great from the photos on the Shoeshine site. All of which is intruiging, and all the more so when you hear the music. Silent Violent has a great and funny lyric, a big pop melody, and shades of the Sugarcubes, yes, but a really pure and fresh sound.
