London’s Alright
The Tacticians
WE SAY
London-based The Tacticians contacted us through our MySpace page to ask us to listen to this, their debut single, released last summer. “More of a song for summer than a dark January day†they conceded and we agreed. With enough sha-la-la’s to bring a smile to your face, this ode to being mugged in London is a shimmering debut that impresses and excites in equal measures. They promise more tracks are being recorded at present. We can’t wait. London Gig: 3 March,O’Reillys, Kentish Town (acoustic set) and 5 March, Spitz, 109 Commercial St.
