Yeah Whatever
The Supersonics
WE SAY
The Supersonics' Britpop and British rock- influenced sound has been winning many fans at home in their native India, with their debut album 'Maby Baking' getting rafts of positive reviews in the national press (including from Rolling Stone India and Time Out Delhi) on release last year. Songs like Yeah Whatever display a knack for writing good hooks with genuine universal appeal. Original new music by Indian groups isn't often given a hearing outside a fairly narrow range of genres in this country, so we look forward to catching them at The Great Escape in May and London gigs around that time. The Supersonics' album is available to license worldwide excluding India. (JF) Tipped by: Paul Knowles
