We Don't Need Money To Have A Good Time
The Subways
WE SAY
This punk-fuelled pop song is incredibly infectious, refreshing and very much topical. After a writing process that produced 50 songs, We Don't Need Money To Have A Good Time has emerged as the lead single, to be released ahead of The Subways' third album - Money and Celebrity - out September 19. Produced by master-of-British-guitar-production, Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur), and mixed by Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters), Good Time was Steve Harris' 'track of the week' on his Xfm show. Although this is Subways third album, their average age is still only 24 and if this song is anything to go by, this album could be their biggest yet.
