Fightin' In The Moonlight

The Souls

deepdive records

WE SAY

The Souls scored a Top 3 album in Switzerland last summer with their debut Eyes Closed and this track from it will make you yearn for long sun-filled days as it conjures up images of carefree afternoons with your mates and a chilled pint or two. Produced by Greg Collins, who’s worked with acts including U2, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others, this folk-tinged pop-rock nugget became a Swiss Top 40 Airplay hit and is one of many tracks on the album that hugely impressed us. They’ve shared stages with The 1975 and Lenny Kravitz, performed at Reeperbahn and many other industry showcases across the US, Europe and beyond. Today they play two London shows (March 9), firstly an ILMC showcase this lunchtime and then with Baba Shrimps and Veronica Furaso at Camden Assembly later. Right now, they’re keen to crossover at a global level and are working on new songs but are seeking potential co-writers, producers, bookers and publishers to help push them towards their goal. They deserve it. Their knack for creating really big sounding tunes is clearly evident here.
