The Shutes
WE SAY
Recreating an early 90's surf-rock sound with confident splendour on this are Isle of Wight band The Shutes. Recently signed to Sony/ATV for publishing, Noah's Ark has arrived on new label Cross Keys to some great early press - namely online exclusives from NME.com and this interview piece from Clashmusic. Radio fans include Lauren Laverne at 6Music and XFM, who put this on their evening playlist. Have already played their home turf of Isle of Wight Festival, further summer action lined up includes Bestival. Noah's Ark was recently made available on limited 7', backed by another track, Waltz Alone, from Cross Keys' website. A free download of another track, Silk Screen Shots is available here. With a full album in the works, The Shutes are - for the moment at least - available for records. Video. JF
