It's worth getting hold of Cody Chesnutt's original version of The Seed (you can get it on Kazaa). The key bits of song are all there but Roots have transformed the production in making it the basis for their best track to date. Out already and destined not to achieve the chart success it deserves despite support from Radio 1 and XFM - this is an alternative hip hop classic.
