WE SAY

Four piece Finnish rock band The Rasmus celebrate their 10th anniversary during 2004 following what was their most momentous year to date, thanks to this track reaching no. 1 in Germany. Their biog sums up the key points about their music: "The Rasmus play rock, but in every song there is a strong melody flavoured with a catchy chorus". What you might not get from all that is that they're still young, good looking, and, despite being Finnish, that rare thing - a credible pop rock band. Months ago we wrote that they stand a serious chance of breaking in the UK and beyond - now this is a pan- European smash and it will do the same here.
