Things are cracking on nicely for Adam, Jack and Tom, who formed The Pale White just 12 months ago. We featured their excellent track Let You Down in July and the word is rapidly spreading on this Newcastle-based three piece, especially their growing reputation as a band who can deliver an exciting live set. At a time when majors are seemingly having cold feet when it comes to signing indie guitar acts, we love it when a bunch of lads emerge with solid crowd-pleasing songs like this and defy all expectations, proving there's always a loyal and energised audience for a great tune you can sing at the top of your voice in a sweaty venue. Their recent sold out headline show at Newcastle’s Think Tank? venue proved this, as did their packed-out debut London show at The Old Blue Last earlier this week. Tastemaker blog Crack In The Road reckons they’re the best new band in the UK. This tune was recently featured on Spotify’s Walking Like A Badass playlist, and it swaggers with confidence from the opening bar like all future anthems do. If these boys don’t make your 2017 tips lists, you're nuts.
